Team Rock Returns. . .

                Training kicks off Saturday, September 11 at 6:30am

For the second year running, SRC is welcoming all runners and walkers to join our Team Rock training program. Our Saturday morning long runs are well organized and staffed to serve as a fun way to prepare for the event.

We are once again offering the Survival Running Care-kit which is a fantastic package of gear which will benefit anyone preparing for the event. For $149.95 the package includes:

ATTENTION WALKERS!

For anyone interested in walking the full or half marathon come on out to our Sunday morning walks with SRC coaches Jim and Sherrye Chapin. The walks start and finish at the store and begin at 6:00am every Sunday.

Another upcoming walking event is the SRC sponsored prep walk for the City of Hope 5K. The prep walk takes place at SRC on Sunday, September 19th at 7:00am. The City of Hope 5K Walk/Run takes place on Sunday, October 3rd. Click on the image below for more details about the 5K.

Join the Iron Girl movement as we kick off a new event right here in Tempe! On
November 13, 2004, women from throughout the area will gather at beautiful Tempe Town Lake for a day filled with fun, friends and fitness. The Iron Girl 5K will feature a flat, scenic course that is ideal for both runners and walkers. This women's-only event caters to the Iron Girl in all of us! From race shirts sized for women, to a spa package for one of the top fundraisers, this event is a "must-do" for both beginners and veterans.
